As we prepare for the 2027 Legislative Session, this directory offers information about advocacy organizations, coalitions, and provider groups you may want to learn more about, connect with, or support. This is not an exhaustive list; it is a starting point for those interested in understanding early learning policy, strengthening the voice of family child care providers, and participating in advocacy that supports children, families, and the early learning workforce.


Each entry includes clickable links to help you learn more about the group and its advocacy work.

Represents ADOES family child care providers in early learning advocacy and legislative agenda development, working with representative Paula F. Sardinas of FMS Global Strategies/WBBA to bring these providers’ voices, needs, and priorities into policy discussions.

Represents child care center owners and directors. Its advocacy includes legislative and DCYF engagement, licensing concerns, and provider town halls designed to inform child care policy and
funding priorities for the 2027 legislative session.

Published by Child Care for WA as the Early Educator Design Team, this statewide group brings child care providers together to develop policy solutions informed by provider experience. Its work includes
educator compensation, a provider-developed policy platform, and recommendations for fully funding a Cost of Quality Care Rate Model.

The Child Care for WA Partner Roundtable is a coalition of advocacy organizations helping lead the campaign. It includes early educator representatives in shared decision-making, connecting providers’
lived experience with coordinated advocacy for affordable, high-quality child care and sustainable compensation for educators.

explicitly documents preparation for 2027; finalized 2027 priorities have not been verified for every organization.
